On Monday, March 22, 2010, the Kendallville Heritage Association meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. in the Kendallville Public Library, meeting room A .  In attendance were: Ray Scott, Tom Leedy, Kathy Young, Pat Young, Mary Hartman and Becky Daniels.

Minutes of the January meeting were approved.

Tom Leedy reported that the Thrive project is reviewing the information gathered to see where Thrive can fit in with what is currently going on in the community.  They are focusing on county and regional resources. 

Mary Hartman reported that she is working on a grant to obtain funding for archiving.  Mary reported that she recently attended a archiving training program and has a better idea of what needs to be done with the Russell Freshse collection.  Mary will meet with Judy Richter to go over plans for archiving the collection.  Mary also brought in a box of postcards which were separated by category.  Eric Daniels will look at adding them to the website.

Ray Scott gave the Mural Project report.  Letters with information about the mural project and where donations can be sent have been mailed out.  Dave Christianson has opened a separate account for mural project funds.

 Ray Scot reported that the annual IRS form has been filed. 

 The next meeting will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Kendallville Public Library.
