On Monday, February 22, 2010, the Kendallville Heritage Association meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. in the Kendallville Public Library, board room .  In attendance were: Ray Scott, Tom Leedy, Pat Young, Dave Christianson, John Bry, Hertha Meyer and Becky Daniels.

Minutes of the January meeting were approved with the following correction.  Pat Young and Dave Christianson were in attendance.

Treasurer Report given.  No change.

Ray Scott gave the Mural Project report.  Letters with information about the mural project and where donations can be sent have been mailed out.  Dave Christianson has opened a separate account for mural project funds.

Ray Scott reported that the Historic Preservation Commission ordinance is tied up in committee at this time.  The ordinance has been tied into the comprehensive plan.  Ray has talked with Mayor Handshoe to see if they can move the ordinance along.

Tom Leedy suggested that KHA aligns our website design with the five pillars of Thrive.  The committee agreed that this is something we will consider.  Eric Daniels will look at how to progress with the new layout on the website. 

John Bry of the Noble County Convention and Visitor's Bureau presented information on the vision for NCCVB since he has started as the Executive Director.  John is working with area leaders and area attrations to establish a marketing brand for Noble County.  

The next meeting will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Kendallville Public Library.
